OAWELL PRODUCTS CO., LTD. ("OAWELL", "we", "us") operates www.oawell.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Information you give us

When you send an inquiry through our contact or quotation form, we collect the details you enter: your name, company name, email address, telephone number, the product category and quantity you are interested in, and the content of your message. Nothing else is required, and you decide what to write in the message field.

2. Information collected automatically

Our server records technical data for each request: IP address, browser and operating system (user-agent string), the page requested, the referring page, and an approximate country derived from the IP address. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful to visitors.

IP addresses are kept in readable form for 30 days and are then replaced by a one-way hash that cannot be reversed. Long-term statistics are stored only in that anonymised form, together with page paths and country, never in a way that identifies a single visitor.

3. Cookies and tracking

The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary session cookie for staff login in the administration area, which visitors never reach.

4. Why we process your information

• To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation — this is processing necessary for steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• To protect the website against abuse, scraping and attacks — our legitimate interest in keeping the service available to genuine buyers.
• To measure aggregate traffic in anonymised form — our legitimate interest in understanding which content is useful.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

5. Who else can see it

Access is limited to OAWELL staff who need the information in order to respond to you. We use service providers for web hosting and email delivery, and they process data on our instructions only. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

6. Where your information is stored

This website and its database are hosted on servers located in mainland China. If you contact us from another region, your information will be transferred to and processed there. We apply the same protections regardless of where the data is stored.

7. How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and are deleted once they are no longer needed or when you ask us to delete them. Automatically collected request data is anonymised after 30 days, as described above.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• confirm what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• delete the information we hold about you;
• restrict or object to how we use it.

Write to sales@oawell.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your own country or region.

9. Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made silently.
